DI PIPELINE

Ductile iron pipe is a pipe made of ductile cast iron commonly used for potable water transmission and distribution.This type of pipe is a direct development of the earlier cast iron pipe, which it has superseded. The ductile iron used to manufacture the pipe is characterized by the spheroidal or nodular nature of the graphite within the iron. Typically, the pipe is manufactured using centrifugal casting in metal or resin lined molds. Protective internal linings and external coatings are often applied to ductile iron pipes to inhibit corrosion: the standard internal lining is cement mortar and standard external coatings include bonded zinc, asphalt or water-based paint. In highly corrosive environments loose polyethylene sleeving (LPS) to encase the pipe may also be used. Life expectancy of unprotected ductile iron pipes depends on the corrosiveness of soil present and tends to be shorter where soil is highly corrosive. However, a lifespan in excess of 100 years has been estimated for ductile iron pipelines installed using "evolved laying practices", including use of properly installed LPS (polyethylene encasement). Studies of ductile iron pipe's environmental impact have differing findings regarding emissions and energy consumed. Ductile iron pipe manufactured in the United States has been certified as a sustainable product by the Institute for Market Transformation to Sustainability.

SVE INFRASTRUCTURE has completed project with the Maharashtra government. In this project the scope of work for SVE INFRASTRUCTURE was very wide, covering from providing and laying, coated/ lined MS Pipes. Providing and laying CI Pipes as well as the construction of WBM road, restoration, and pre-mixing of roads, etc. The project we have completed well within the prescribed time. we have later on successfully completed another project for PWD.

SVE INFRASTRUCTURE is a leading contractor in PUNE AND PCMC. Till date we have executed more than 3500 kms of pipeline approximately. Presently we are executing various projects of water transmission mains and distribution systems consisting of Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Mild Steel Pipes involving sizes from 100mm to 1100mm dia as well as peripheral Sewer network pipeline work involving 280mm dia to 710mm dia HDPE Pipes for PWD and a turnkey project comprising of water treatment plant, Intake well, overhead tank and raw water, clear water and distribution main including house connections and O&M of the entire project for Municipal corporation, Pcmc, MAHARASHTRA.

SV GROUP is also working as consultant and providing consultancy services to various organizations. Such services are being provided by a team of expert Engineers who have long experience in the field of water supply, sewerage, infrastructures and civil engineering.

We have sufficient machinery as well as tools and plants to carry out the projects of water sewerage transmission/conveyance pipeline system on a turn-key basis.
